Mt. Pleasant to host Panther Hoopla Youth Basketball Camp

MT. PLEASANT — Varsity boys head coach Eric Rawson and the Panther basketball program will host ‘Panther Hoopla,’ a Southeast Iowa basketball camp which offers fundamental skill sessions for girls and boys from third-to-eighth grade.

The two-day camp will provide players with an opportunity to get in the gym and practice skills to help them all season long. Coaches will work with athletes in a ‘fun and challenging environment’ filled with basketball drills, player development and competitive games.

The camp will take place from July 20-21. Morning sessions for sixth, seventh and eighth grade will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Afternoon sessions for third, fourth and fifth grade will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
