TIFFIN — The Mt. Pleasant volleyball season ended in the regional semifinals on Thursday night. The Panthers had an uphill climb against Clear Creek-Amana, falling in three sets.
The Clippers held the Panthers under 15 points in each game. CCA walked away with wins of 25-14, 25-11 and 25-14.
Alex Scott led the Panthers in the loss, collecting five kills. Addison Clark and Savannah Slobodnik finished with four each. Scott and Abby Carthey co-led the squad with 17 digs apiece, and Carthey dished out 13 assists.
Seniors who saw the floor for Mt. Pleasant were Sonya Simon, Bizzie Richtman, Xithlali Calderon Martinez, Zoey Atkinson, Slobodnik and Addison Peck.
