Mt. Pleasant, Washington girls golf hit the green in Oskaloosa
Panthers take seventh, Demons 10th in Indian’s Invitational

Mt. Pleasant and Washington girls golf were in action on Thursday night, traveling to Oskaloosa for the Indian’s annual Oskaloosa Invitational.
It wasn’t good golf weather per se, but nevertheless, 11 teams competed in the event.
The Panthers and Demons played admirably as Mt. Pleasant finished seventh in the meet with a score of 430. Meanwhile, Washington placed 10th with a final score of 453.
Norwalk took the teams title with a low of 358.
Individually, Mt. Pleasant was paced by Kylie Walderbach who shot a 94 through 18 holes. Sophia Walderbach followed with a 107. Felicity Metcalf closed with a 114. Ashlynn Beauchamp had a 115. Vivian Cornell shot a 122 and Elaina Holtkamp a 123.
For Washington, Maci Williams led the way, golfing a 95. Natalie Prochaska finished with a 116. Lauren Hinrichsen had 116. Presley Hora followed with a 126 and Lucy Sands shot a 129.
