Mt. Pleasant wins twice at Oskaloosa volleyball tournament
Fairfield goes 0-4 in weekend action

OSKALOOSA — Both Mt. Pleasant and Fairfield were at the Oskaloosa Invitational volleyball tournament on Saturday. The Panthers walked out with two wins, and the Trojans went winless.
Mt. Pleasant’s victories both came via the sweep. The Panthers took down Fairfield 21-14, 21-18 and dumped Ottumwa 21-15, 21-9.
The Panthers also lost in two sets against Marshalltown, Oskaloosa and Chariton.
Along with the loss to the Panthers, the Trojans fell in three other games.
The Panthers and Trojans will both be at Fairfield High School on Tuesday in the second day of the Southeast Conference tournament.
