Mt. Pleasant XC summer runs

The Mt. Pleasant cross country team will be hosting an optional summer run beginning on June 14.

These runs are not only a great way to run with others, but also get in shape for the up coming season. There are paces and plans for runners with any experience level needed.

Runs are available for anyone between seventh and 12th grade.

Coaches may not be present at every single run, but upperclassmen have done a great job at hosting previous outings and have done a spectacular job with all levels of runners.

The runs will take place on:

Monday and Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Saunders Park by the swimming pool.

Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 a.m. at the Old Threshers Museum Theatre.

The runs will continue until roughly the middle of August followed by a cross country camp.
