OSKALOOSA — The Mt. Pleasant youth soccer program flexed its muscle one last time on June 4 and 5, as the Panthers celebrated another successful season on the pitch.
The Panthers had two Under 15 teams, MPSA 1 and MPSA 2. MPSA 2 polished off an undefeated season by winning the league’s tournament in Oskaloosa on June 5.
MPSA 2 won six games over the weekend, defeating Ottumwa Sporting, Fairfield, Washington, Oskaloosa and MPSA 1 to make the championship game, and taking out Ottumwa FC for the championship.
The Under 10 team won the championship as well, defeating Oskaloosa in the championship game. Mt. Pleasant’s Under 12 team was defeated by Fairfield in the championship game for second place.
