Mt. Pleasant’s Davidson makes podium at district swimming
DAVENPORT — Mt. Pleasant’s Will Davidson found himself on the podium at the Iowa High School Athletic Association’s district swimming meet over the weekend. Davidson, who swims for Burlington, competed in a pair of relays that took fifth place.
Davidson, along with Fort Madison’s John Cotrell and Burlington’s Aiden Woodsmall and Nathen Parks finished in the Top-5 in the 200-meter medley relay and the 200-meter free relay.
The Grayhounds finished the medley in one minute, 45.20 seconds. They hit the wall at 1:35.10 in the free relay.
Davidson is a junior at Mt. Pleasant Community High School. He also runs cross-country and track and field.
