Mt. Pleasant?s Melloy qualifies for Division III Outdoor Nationals
Mt. Pleasant Community High School graduate and Mt. Pleasant native Brittany Melloy recently qualified for the 2011 NCAA Division III outdoor track and field championships in two events.
Melloy, who runs for the Wartburg Knight?s women?s team, qualified for the 4x400 meter relay, along with the 400 meter hurdles; she is one of 15 women and eight men to qualify for Wartburg.
