Mueller dives into state meet
CLINTON ? Fairfield freshman diver Katherine Mueller qualified for the state diving meet with an unfreshman-like fourth-place finish at the regional meet in Clinton Thursday.
Up against divers from larger schools, Mueller turned in a finals score of 337.10 to best seven other athletes in the 1-meter dive event. Mueller?s season will continue Nov. 2 at the state meet in Marshalltown.

Up against divers from larger schools, Mueller turned in a finals score of 337.10 to best seven other athletes in the 1-meter dive event. Mueller?s season will continue Nov. 2 at the state meet in Marshalltown.
Jacintha Thomas of Iowa West City won the regional meet with a score of 436.70. Teammates Alex Aaberg (365.50) and Becca Hilmer (344.95) finished second and third, respectively.
