Closing the park would be like taking art, music, and PE out of the school for the kids ? another stupid move by the adults. The swimming feature in the park is a kid?s paradise! What would we have the kids do instead ? watch TV????? Where would I swim????? In the chlorine infested indoor pool? We don?t let the kids skateboard on the square or ride bikes or roller blades or skates and now we want to take away their swimming hole???? Stupid adults! Lay off some sheriff deputies and use their salaries to fund the swimming hole. Let the kids have park (me too). Let the kids have the square ? less police ? more fun!
