New London bests W-MU on golf course
NEW LONDON ? The New London golf teams continued their undefeated seasons with wins over Winfield-Mt. Union on Tuesday. The Tiger boys won by a score of 180-185, and the Tiger girls won, 204-231.
The medalist for the boys was New London?s Micah Alden, who shot a 41 on his par-36 home course, Deerwood. He was followed by Taylor Bucholz with a 44, Tristan Kadel with a 47 and Logan Stevens with a 48.

For W-MU, Brody Heying and Klayton Booth each shot a 45. Jake Edwards had a 46 and Eric Spencer shot a 49.
On the girls? side, medalist Roni Delaney led New London with a 46. She was followed by the Tigers? Jorgi Krieger with a 51, Breanna Stevens with a 52 and Baylee Lindell with a 55.
Rachel Anderson led the Wolves with a 54, followed by Lauren Baker with a 57, Kassidy McLaughlin with a 58 and Kelsie Wade with a 62.
W-MU golfs again today at the Mid-Prairie Tournament, which was to start at 12 p.m. New London will golf tomorrow at Mediapolis at 4 p.m.
