New London down to No. 12 in volleyball rankings

The sixth volleyball rankings compiled by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union were released Thursday, Sept. 30.

New London has dropped to 12th in Class 1A behind Super Conference rivals Holy Trinity, fifth, and Notre Dame, first, with West Burlington ninth in 3A.

River Valley Conference members Wilton and West Branch are ranked second and 12th, respectively, in 2A and West Liberty is fourth in 3A.
