New London girls fall to South Division leaders

NEW LONDON - The New London girls basketball team went head-to-head with No. 8 (3A) West Burlington on Saturday, and the Tigers couldn't upend the top team Southeast Iowa Super Conference South Division. West Burlington won every quarter to knock off New London 69-34.
New London trailed 17-11 after the first quarter and 35-17 at halftime. West Burlington scord 20 points in the third to put the game on ice.
Natalie Burden and Marah Hartrick coled the New London with 10 points apiece. Keaura Williams added seven.
