New London girls’ golf tops Winfield-Mt. Union

WINFIELD - New London and Winfield-Mt. Union met in Winfield on Monday for a Henry County showdown. The Tigers took the day, beating W-MU 212-229 at Twin Lakes Golf Course.

The Tigers were led by Addie Pry, who won the meet individually with a 45. Summer Malott took second on the team and fourth overall with a 50.

Dorie Rich shot a 55 for third best on New London. Alisha Boles was the fourth scorer for the Tigers, shooting a 62. Hannah Ortberg shot a 68, and Addison Orth finished at 83.

Sabrina Moody took second overall with a 48 to lead the Wolves. Lauren Hagge was one stroke behind Moody with a 49. Abbie Cooley finished with a 63 for third on the team.

Makenna Mullin was the fourth scorer for W-MU, finishing the day at 69. Kristina Gerst shot a 72, and Johndree Harris shot a 77.
