New London girls overpowered by Central Lee in opener

The Hawks led by an 18-3 margin already after the first quarter. They added 24 points to the Tigers? 10 for a halftime score of 42-13.
The Central Lee offense slowed just slightly in the third quarter, scoring 15 to gain a 57-19 lead.
Caitlin Rice was the top scorer for New London with nine points on the night. Addie Lounsbury added five.
The Tigers play again after the Thanksgiving break. They will host Harmony in their home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 29. Both the girls and boys will play, starting at 6 p.m.
