Maharishi pushed us in both the second and third games and we did not respond well. We will need to improve our play for the match with WACO on Tuesday.?
On the night, Koral Crossett was the kill leader with 10, followed by Charley Lorber with four, Olivia Lounsbury and Bria Mears with three, and Baylee Lindell and Addie Lounsbury with two apiece.
Mears had 16 assists for the Tigers. Emily Parks added two; Olivia Lounsbury and Sarah Holtkamp had one apiece.
Olivia Lounsbury, Crossett and Lindell also registered one block each.
Taylor Landes claimed 16 digs, the team leader in that category. Caitlin Rice had 15, Mears had 14, Sami Koontz had eight, Holtkamp had five and Lindell had three digs.
Rice was the team?s top server, going 21-of-21 with four aces; Mears was 16-of-17, three aces; Landes, 10-of-10, one ace; Holtkamp, eight-of-nine, one ace; Lindell, six-of-six; Koontz five-of-five, one ace; Caitlin Chiri three-of-five, one ace.
The Tigers will host WACO on Tuesday in the regional quarterfinal at 7 p.m.
