New London, Mt. Pleasant girls golf take part in Keokuk Invitational
Tigers win team title, Panthers take the bronze

KEOKUK — Mt. Pleasant and New London girls golf were both in Keokuk on Monday for the Chiefs’ Keokuk Invitational.
Fives teams battled it out in the tournament and finishing on top was New London.
The Tigers were 59 shots better than the host in second place Keokuk, who finished with a 413.
Mt. Pleasant followed in third with a 430. Fort Madison, 451, and Central Lee, 506, rounded out the team scores.
The tournament medalist was New London’s Taylor Phillips. Phillips finished with an individual low of 79.
Teammate Sophie Malott followed with a 85. Sidney Kracht ended with a 93. Katelyn Allen carded a 97. Emma Busby had a 102 and Stevey Wintermeyer had a 113.
As for Mt. Pleasant, Kylie Walderbach finished with a 96. Sophia Walderbach closed with a 107. Elaina Holtkamp carded a 112. Ashlynn Beauchamp had a 115. Felicity Metcalf tallied a 121 and Vivian Cornell had a 131.
