New London ranked 8th as team

New London has four ranked wrestlers in Class 1A and that contributes to a ranking of eighth as a team, according to the Predicament, which released its rankings last week.
Leading the way for the Tigers is top-ranked Marcel Lopez, a sophomore who is slotted at No. 1 at the weight of 113 pounds.
Dominic Lopez is ranked fourth at 138. Tiger teammate Josh Glendening, who is a freshman, is ninth at 120. At 160, senior Gabe Carter is placed at sixth.
Highland has a ranked wrestler at 106 and that is junior Bryce Thompson at seventh.
Also seeing a No. 7 rank is Sigourney-Keota's Mason Dye, a senior, at 120.
WACO has senior Jaden Williams at 152 ranked 10th.
In 3A, Waverly-Shell Rock claims the top ranking with nine ranked wrestlers.
In Class 2A, West Delaware is ranked first with eight ranked wrestlers.
Mid-Prairie's Isaac Boucher, a senior, is ranked eighth at 195.
Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union's senior Cam Rice is ranked sixth at 145 and sophomore Lane Scorpil is ranked ninth at 106.
