New London records loss to West Burlington
NEW LONDON ? New London dropped three straight sets to West Burlington last night, Sept. 13, in an SEISC South matchup.
West Burlington won the games by scores of 25-22, 25-13 and 25-23.
?We struggled offensively, but should have been able to close on two of the games,? Head Coach Maureen Heath said. ?West Burlington dug everything we gave them, plus we had trouble adjusting to their tips.?

Koral Crossett put down eight kills for the Tigers, followed by Olivia Lounsbury and Charley Lorber with four, and Baylee Lindell and Bria Mears with one kill each. Mears was the assist leader with 13 and Sarah Holtkamp added one.
Mears also led the Tigers with 14 digs. Caitlin Rice added seven, followed by Holtkamp and Caitlin Chiri with six. Taylor Landes and Crossett had four digs apiece.
Lorber and Lounsbury each put up two blocks and Lindell added one.
Mears went 13-14 on serves with four aces; Holtkamp was 10-10, one ace; Lindell was 9-9, 3 aces; and Rice was 8-9, one ace. The Tigers are 4-3, 1-1 in conference, and will play Cardinal on Thursday at home.
