New London second at SEISC South golf meet

The New London boys' golf team finished in second-place at the Southeast Iowa Super Conference South Division golf tournament on Thursday afternoon, behind winner Central Lee.

Kyle Helmerson finished the meet third individually with an 18 hole score of 78, trailing medalist Tyler Dick of Notre Dame/West Burlington (75) and runner-up Brian Krehbiel of Central Lee (76).

Kris Millard was fourth in individual scoring with a final of 84.

New London hosts Winfield-Mt. Union in a boys/girls rescheduled meet on May 11, starting at 2:45 p.m. The meet was previously rained out on April 19.
