New London to hold ‘Rockin’ for Wrestling’ day

NEW LONDON — The New London wrestling team will be hosting a fundraiser at ‘Woobies’ in New London on Saturday. The event will begin at 10 a.m., and the fun won’t be over until midnight.

The day will begin with a car show, with runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Midway through the car show, an auction will begin at the community center. That auction begins at noon, and the team is still accepting donations.

A bags tournament will be taking place, starting at 3 p.m. The bags tournament is open to youth.

Starting at 8 p.m., country and rock group Lee-Henry Road will be performing.

The Fullsmoke BBQ food truck will be serving food at the event.
