Ninth-grade girls win first game

FT. MADISON -- The Mt. Pleasant freshman girls' basketball team won its first game of the season on Friday night. The Panthers took down Ft. Madison by two points on the road, winning 21-19.
Kenna Lamm led the Panthers with 12 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Ava Lowery had four points, five rebounds and four steals, and Jenna Gilmore had four points, four rebounds and two steals.
The Panthers will return home for their first game of 2019. Mt. Pleasant will host Washington on Friday, Jan. 4.
