No. 12 New London one win away from State
Tigers sweep Belle Plaine for trip to Class 1A Region 7 Championship against No. 1 Springville

NEW LONDON — New London volleyball’s dominance continued on Monday night as the Tigers picked up yet another sweep in regional play, downing Belle Plaine in three straight sets.
The Tigers dominated in all areas of the game, winning 25-16, 25-13 and 25-10.
With the win, the No. 12 Tigers (28-9) will now take on the No. 1 Springville Orioles (36-3) with a trip to the state tournament on the line.
A win would put New London into the state tournament for the first time since the 2020-21 season.
New London and Springville are set to square off at West Liberty High School starting at 7 p.m.
