No. 13 New London rolls past Cardinal
Tiger volleyball team sweeps SEISC South match
ELDON - The 13th-ranked (1A) New London volleyball team was too much for hosting Cardinal in a Southeast Iowa Conference clash.
The Tigers cruised in every set. New London took games 25-5, 25-11, 25-11.
Natalie Burden had a big night for New London, collecting 15 kills. Aliyah Christensen and Elly Manning had 12 assists apiece, and Emma Nye finished the game with 17 digs.
Sydney Pickrell once again led the Comets at the net, collecting five kills. She led the squad with 15 digs. Emma Becker wasn’t far behind in either category, ending the night with three kills and 14 digs.
Megan and Emily Ward led in helpers for the Comets. Megan had six assists on the night, and Emily finished with five.
