No. 2 Mediapolis too much for Columbus
Kansas State recruit Jesse Ertz threw for five touchdowns to lead second-ranked Mediapolis to a 55-14 win over visiting Columbus on Friday night.
Ertz was 8-for-12 passing for 179 yards and five touchdowns. Senior Jordan Wagenbach caught a pair of touchdown passes for the Bulldogs (8-0, 5-0 Class 2A District 5), while senior Caleb Gerst, senior Chase Miller and junior Drew Buster also caught scoring passes.
