No. 7 Lisbon overcomes big game by Highland QB
Lisbon junior quarterback Logan Rickard ran for two touchdowns and threw for another to lead the seventh-ranked Lions to a 35-7 win over visiting Highland on Friday night.
Rickard ran for 91 yards and two scores, and senior Trevor Moore rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown for the Lions (7-1, 6-0 Class A District 5). Rickard also threw a 61-yard touchdown to junior Tyler Svatosch.

Lisbon junior quarterback Logan Rickard ran for two touchdowns and threw for another to lead the seventh-ranked Lions to a 35-7 win over visiting Highland on Friday night.
Rickard ran for 91 yards and two scores, and senior Trevor Moore rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown for the Lions (7-1, 6-0 Class A District 5). Rickard also threw a 61-yard touchdown to junior Tyler Svatosch.
The Lions overcame an outstanding night by Highland quarterback Kody Wood, who completed 17 of his 20 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown. His main target was senior Trey Brenneman, who caught six passes for 20 yards. Senior Derrick Stewart made five receptions for 95 yards, including a 74-yard touchdown catch. Senior Talon McFarland caught three passes for 43 yards for the Huskies (5-3, 4-2 District 5), and senior Jake Tate made three receptions for 30 yards.
