The weather continued to play havoc with the 2018-19 high school sports calendar.

'We have had eight months of bad weather,” Washington athletic director Brent Van Weelden said at the lone Demon event Monday, a home golf triangular against Keokuk and Fairfield boys.
A home girls soccer match against Oskaloosa was called off Monday and a boys soccer match at Columbus was rescheduled to Saturday at 10 a.m.
'Our field was just to wet to play,” Van Weelden said. 'That was the same problem at Columbus Junction.”
While the rain had stopped by mid afternoon and the sun was out before the golf triangular ended, Van Weelden said there is more to consider that just the weather.
'The main thing is the safety of the kids,” he said. 'I was out on the soccer field and there was water standing and every step I took, it was very spongy. We don't want the kids to get hurt.”
Only events close to Missouri were held Tuesday with Central Lee hosting Wapello and Keokuk hosting Macomb, Illinois in soccer matches. A Notre Dame-Holy Trinity match was moved indoors at the Burlington RecPlex.
Mid-Prairie's home boys golf meet Tuesday was rescheduled to Friday at 12:30 p.m., while Monday's meet at West Liberty was cancelled.
Tuesday's SEISC girls conference golf meet at Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course was rescheduled to Monday and the boys meet set for today was rescheduled to May 8.
Highland's home soccer match against Cedar Valley Christian was changed to May 17.
WACO had a home girls track meet that was canceled.
