The Indians didn?t let up after the initial goal, as they jumped on the Demons for a 4-0 victory.
?We had a lazy game,? Washington girls? soccer head coach Kyle Collins said. ?We had injured and sick girls and weren?t playing as a team right away. Oskaloosa wasn?t as good as the score showed. The weekend is long for everybody, and then you have to show up and play a game first thing. We didn?t work together and when we did, it was rough, so we just have to move on.?
The loss moves Washington to 2-7 on the season, and the team will travel to Keokuk on Thursday, as it looks to pick up its first conference win of the year.
