Ottumwa avenges loss to Demon eighth-graders
The Washington eighth-grade girls? basketball team saw its three-game winning streak snapped on Thursday night in Ottumwa, where the Demons suffered a 39-31 loss.

Lexi Redlinger scored 16 points to lead the Demons, and she also pulled down four rebounds. Alexi Evans added nine points, four rebounds and three steals. Brenna Weidman scored four points and grabbed two rebounds, and Bella Giardino had two points and two boards. Jessie Buchholz pulled down four rebounds, while Michaela Roder and Alexis Turner had two apiece.
The Washington eighth-grade girls? basketball team has this week off before hosting Clear Creek-Amana on Dec. 10.
