Sixth-graders at Mt. Pleasant Middle School kicked off the three-day meal packaging event on Tuesday, April 24. The students are hoping to prepare 125,000 meals, which will be sent to Vidor, Texas, a community roughly the same size as Mt. Pleasant that was devastated by hurricanes this past fall.
