Comet senior Lindsay Albert competes at the IMS Early Bird cross country meet in Kalona Tuesday. Albert finished the race in 18 minutes, 57 seconds to claim 25th place in the season-opening race; the Comets scored 263 points as a team for ninth place. Iowa City High won the meet with just 25 points. Cardinal cross country is back in action today at Pekin?s Wildwood Invite in Ottumwa.
