A Cedar Rapids firm ? Hobart Historic Restoration ? is planning to construct 19 apartments in the former Brazelton Hotel building which is located on the corner of Main and Monroe streets, just off the northeast corner of the Mt. Pleasant square. Mt. Pleasant City Council members passed a resolution at their Feb. 11 meeting, supporting Hobart?s plans and granting property tax abatement for the project.
