Mt. Pleasant Woman?s Club received 140 entries for its 62nd annual Iris Show last weekend. In the photo, some of the attendees view the displays. Bob Brown?s display won Best of Show. Brown is from Mediapolis. Janet Young of Mt. Pleasant had the best arrangement. Also incorporated into the show was artwork, featuring the iris.

The South Shore campground at Oakland Mills and Water Works Park are now open, according to the Henry County Conservation Department.Sixteen camping sites are available at South Shore.Campground hosts are in place at both campgrounds to assist with registration and camping needs.
