Paula Morgan, left, of the Tolson Community Action Program, accepts a $2,000 donation from Chad Hudson, right, senior vice president of the Wayland State Bank. Mt. Pleasant?s City Hall will be closed Monday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 25, for Christmas.Garbage will be picked up on Monday, Dec. 24. Garbage normally collected on Tuesday-Thursday will be delayed one day.All government offices and financial institutions will be closed on Christmas Day. Several offices also will either be closed or closing early on Christmas Eve Day.
