Cornell freshman and Washington alumnus Walker Breard was named the National Hitter of the Week for the week of April 6 - 12 for his performance against Illinois College.Breard batted .714 that week, hitting four home runs, three doubles, scoring seven runs and and notching 10 RBIs over that span.Currently, Breard is batting .347 on the season, and has a team-high seven home runs.
