Panther girls? golf outshoots Keokuk
KEOKUK ? The Mt. Pleasant girls? golf team claimed a narrow win over Keokuk at the Keokuk Country Club on Tuesday night.
The Panthers outshot the Chiefs 228-231, led by runner-up medalist Natalie Booton?s 53 on the par-36 course.
The medalist was Keokuk?s Katie Edwardson with a 44, but it wasn?t enough to keep Keokuk ahead of Mt. Pleasant in the team scores.

Next up for the Mt. Pleasant girls? team is a meet in Washington on Monday, April 16 ? but first, the Panthers get a much-needed break.
?We have had four meets in the last two weeks, so it will be nice to get back to the course and driving range to work on some needed areas to improve our overall skills,? Coach Jim Kelly said.
