Panther girls hold postseason banquet
White named team’s MVP for 2024-25

MT. PLEASANT — The Mt. Pleasant girls basketball team held its 2024-25 end-of-year awards banquet on Friday, and many Panther players were honored for their work on the court this season.
The team MVP award was given to junior Kynlee White, who led the Panthers in a handful of categories this winter.
The nod was one week after White was named to the All-Southeast Conference honorable mention list.
Another All-SEC honorable mention, senior Alexa Fuller won the Offensive Player of the Year award. Fellow senior Charice Auwerda was named the Defensive Player of the Year.
Jayden Yoder was named the Most Improved Player of the year. Myah Starr and Kaylen Hunold won the Panther Awards. Addison Clark and Paityn Ensminger were given Coaches Awards.
The Panthers were just 3-19 overall this year, but lose just two seniors to graduation.
