Panther girls place third at Burlington
BURLINGTON ? The Mt. Pleasant girls? golf team took third of 14 teams in the Burlington Invitational at Flint Hills Golf Course on Monday.
Pleasant Valley won the event with a score of 348, followed by Burlington (373). Mt. Pleasant scored 386.
The Panthers were led by Haley Booton, who took seventh overall with a score of 91 on the par-71 course.

?We achieved both goals I had for this tournament: having four scores under 100 and finishing in the top half of the field,? Coach Jim Kelly said.
The Panthers play again tonight (Tuesday) at Fairfield at 4 p.m.
