Panther girls, Trojan boys win at Iris Bowling Center
Mt. Pleasant, Fairfield split in SEC dual

MT. PLEASANT — A rivalry was renewed at Iris Bowling Center in Mt. Pleasant on Thursday as Fairfield visited the Panthers’ home lanes for Southeast Conference battle. The two schools split, as the Mt. Pleasant girls rolled 2,249-1,500 and the Fairfield boys pulled out a 2,721-2,604 victory.
Mt. Pleasant had the Top-5 bowlers on the girls’ side. Bethany Drury led the way with a 374. Madelynn Millard rolled 286. Addison McGehearty finished at 276. Natalie Brush bowled a 274. Kya Goodrich finished at 261, and Joanna Fortin bowled 223.
Fairfield’s girls’ team was led by Addison Harris’ 246. Eleanore Houston bowled a 192. Grace Forrest finished at 191. Emma Wendland bowled a 167, and Una Carter finished at 156.
On the boys’ side, Fairfield’s Ethan Cass had a fantastic outing, ending the day at 474. Chase Johnston bowled 377 for the Trojans. Dylan Adam ended at 352. Dayson Workman scored 343. Ian Aplara finished at 316, and Kenneth Houston rolled a 241.
On the Mt. Pleasant boys’ side, Conner Sizemore paced the team with a 394 for second overall. Alec Payne ended at 378. Henry Pforts finished at 364. Titus Reno bowled a 351. Xachary LeBlanc bowled a 334, and Joseph Reinschmidt ended at 233.
