Panthers downed at No. 10 Pella

PELLA - The Mt. Pleasant boys basketball team couldn't slow down No. l0 Pella in a nonconference road game on Tuesday night. The Dutch defeated the Panthers 93-54 in Mt. Pleasant's last regular season game of the year.
Pella led 28-15 after one quarter, 49-23 at halftime and 78-39 after three quarters.
Clayton Lowery led the Panthers with 11 points in the loss. Keegan Kohorst and Konnor Peterson scored nine poitns apiece.
Brevin Wilson scored eight points and dished out three assists. Cooper Pullis scored five points. Jaxon Hoyle scored four. Jack Johnson had three. Brody Bender finished with two points and four rebounds, and Jonathan Myers scored two points.
Mt. Pleasant is now 11-10 on the year. They'll face Washington in the first round of the district tournament on Monday. That game will take place on Monday with Fairfield and Davenport Assumption following.
