Panthers fall to Bloodhounds in second meeting of the season
Mt. Pleasant swept by Fort Madison in final regular season matchup
FORT MADISON — Mt. Pleasant girls basketball suffered its second loss of the season from the hands of Fort Madison on Friday night.
The Panthers were defeated by the Bloodhounds 45-22. Sophomore Abby Carthey led Mt. Pleasant, scoring 15 of the Panthers 22 points.
With the loss, the Panthers move to 3-10 and 1-4 in conference play. The girls are set to host Mid-Prairie on Monday night and then welcome Washington on Friday in another Southeast Conference clash.
