Panthers roll in West Burlington

WEST BURLINGTON - The Mt. Pleasant bowling teams got off to a hot start on Tuesday in their road meet at West Burlington. The Panther boys beat the Falcons by 193 pins, and the girls won by default as West Burlington had just three girls available to bowl.
The Mt. Pleasant boys were led by Levi Svoboda, who bowled a 306, the only Panther to eclipse 300. Nolan Myers finished at 285. Colel Wohlleber rolled a 279. Jonathan Fortin was one pin behind Wohlleber, at 278. Style Haeffner rolled a 204, and Justin Alldredge finished at 197.
The Panther boys' baker games went 152, 119, 125, 178 and 128.
The Mt. Pleasant girls were led by Eden Svoboda's 298. Tori Hixson finished at 274. Gillian Anderson bowled a 231. Megan Smith had a 214. Danielle Muhs rolled a 209, and Morelia Elias finished at 149.
Baker games on the Panther girls' side went 128, 110, 141, 98, 140.
Mt. Pleasant will next be in action on Thursday, Dec. 10, when they host Keokuk in a Southeast Conference matchup.
