Though goal keeper Lauren Hillman recorded a season-high 13 saves against Burlington on Thursday evening, the Mt. Pleasant girls' soccer team lost its third game of the season, 2-0.
The game was a defensive battle until Burlington pushed the ball into the back of the net with 15 minutes to play in the second half, before scoring again with five minutes to play.

Though goal keeper Lauren Hillman recorded a season-high 13 saves against Burlington on Thursday evening, the Mt. Pleasant girls' soccer team lost its third game of the season, 2-0.
The game was a defensive battle until Burlington pushed the ball into the back of the net with 15 minutes to play in the second half, before scoring again with five minutes to play.
"It was a pretty evenly matched game. We were in it the whole game, we had scoring opportunities ? [we] hit the cross bar several times," said coach Ed Chabal.
Mt. Pleasant (8-3) travels to Holy Trinity on Monday, May 9, for another non-conference game, starting at 5 p.m.
