Panthers split season series with Keokuk with win
The Mt. Pleasant boys' tennis team edged out Keokuk Tuesday afternoon in a 5-4 win, "avenging" its only loss of the season, according to coach Tyler Rodgers.
Though Keokuk won two of the three doubles matches, Mt. Pleasant took four of the six singles matches with wins from Eric Hahn, Jerad Ruble, Jack Bell and Peirce Lorenz.

The Mt. Pleasant boys' tennis team edged out Keokuk Tuesday afternoon in a 5-4 win, "avenging" its only loss of the season, according to coach Tyler Rodgers.
Though Keokuk won two of the three doubles matches, Mt. Pleasant took four of the six singles matches with wins from Eric Hahn, Jerad Ruble, Jack Bell and Peirce Lorenz.
"Eric Hahn and Jerad Ruble had a great night and led the way. Peirce Lorenz has made great strides lately and Jack Bell battled all night in singles [matches]," said Rodgers. "It was a great win heading into post-season after we play Davis County Thursday."
Hahn and Ruble defeated Andrew Shulte and Drew Kline for the Panthers' lone doubles win.
Mt. Pleasant (8-1) plays at Davis County on Thursday afternoon, starting at 4 p.m.
