The losing streak continued for the Washington baseball team on Thursday night.
The Demons traveled to face Mt. Pleasant, and the first game came down to the wire.
The Demons tied the game up at three in the top of the sixth, but the Panthers responded in the bottom half of the inning to take the victory 4-3.
In the second game, Mt. Pleasant found its groove, scoring 12 runs on nine hits, including a game-ending grand slam from Pat Canby to give Mt. Pleasant a 12-1 victory in five innings.
The pair of losses moves Washington to 5-15 on the season, and marks the Demons? seventh-straight loss.
Washington will look to rebound on Tuesday when Oskaloosa comes to town.
