Panthers take fourth at Mohawk Invite

MORAVIA - The Mt. Pleasant boys' golf team was in Moravia on Thursday for the Mohawk Invite. The Panthers finished fourth out of 20 teams, shooting a 342.
Jake Moffett led the Panthers, shooting an 83 on the day. He shot a 40 on the front nine and a 43 on the back. Brevin Wilson was right behind Moffett, shooting a 44 and a 40 to end the day at 84.
Trace White had a good outing, finishing the day out at 86. He shot a 43 on the front nine, and matched that with a 43 on the back nine. Rhett Zeglen shot a 44 on the front nine and a 45 on the back to end the day at 89.
Bailey Shelledy finished fifth out of Mt. Pleasant's five golfers. He ended the day at 90, shooting a 44 on the front nine and a 46 on the back.
Mt. Pleasant will be right back at it today (Friday), when they take part in a Southeast Conference triangular. They will take on Washington and Ft. Madison at Washington Golf and Country Club.
