Panthers, Trojans, Demons compete at Oskaloosa
Washington takes fifth, Mt. Pleasant 11th, Fairfield 13th

OSKALOOSA — The Mt. Pleasant, Washington and Fairfield boys golf teams all competed in the Oskaloosa Invitational tournament on Tuesday afternoon.
As a team, Washington was the highest placer out of the three. With 16 total teams in the field, the Demons finished fifth on the day with a final score of 335. Mt. Pleasant followed with a team total of 343 for eleventh. Fairfield ended its day with a total of 357 points, good enough for thirteenth.
Roman Roth had the Demons highest score after the competition. Roth finished third with a 75. Teague Mayer ended with an 84 on the day. Luke Beenblossom shot an 86. Isaac Vetter ended with a 90. Grant Sobaski had 92 and John Prochaska a 105.
For Mt. Pleasant, Nick Matheney had a great day on the course. Matheney earned the runner-up spot after shooting a 72. Reece Kempker followed with a score of 79. Reece Coffman and Nate Dismang both totaled 96. Ian Hake ended with 108 and Ben Meador 122.
The Trojan’s Max Weaton 83 was a team-best. Sam Weaton golfed a 90. Nate Smithburg and Dave Eisner shot 92 each. Evan Haines tallied a 94 and Nile Christensen a 97.
