Pekin at 8, Keota back in

While Pekin maintained its position at No. 8 in Class 2A despite not playing a boys basketball game last week, Keota returned to the No. 10 position in Class 1A.
Both teams have a single loss on the season. Keota had been ranked as high as No. 7 before suffering a loss to current No. 7 and fellow South Iowa Cedar League team, Montezuma.
Pekin's fellow Southeast Iowa Super Conference teams Wapello and New London received votes in Class 1A.
Keota's Carson Sprouse is 18th in Class 1A in made 3-pointers and 22nd in steals. Brady Duwa is 18th in blocks.
Pekin's Brady Millikin is 10th in 2A is assists while Brayden Sobaski is third in blocks. Brock Long is 24th in steals.
