Pekin boys run away with title at Warrior Relays

KEOSAUQUA ? Pekin won just about every event and hauled in 240 points Monday to cruise to a Class A boys? track title at the Warrior Relays in Keosauqua.
The Panthers received wins from Cory Loyd (110-hurdles and 400-lows), Chase Copeland (100), Austin Fariss (1600), Eric Adam (shot put) and Scott Entsminger (long jump). They also had individual victories from Jared Bond in the discus and Keaton Winn in the high jump.
Other wins came from the shuttle hurdle relay team of Tanner Adam, Colton Lanman, Earnest and Loyd; the distance medley made up of Quentin Garrels, Copeland, Christian Wittrock and Eli Harper; and the 4x800 of Graham Wittrock, Harper, Fariss and Cade Millikin. Copeland, Garrels, Winn and Christian Wittrock also picked up wins in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays.
