WAPELLO ? The Pekin boys? basketball team nearly doubled Wapello?s point total in a 63-34 drubbing Thursday.

Pekin, now the winner of three straight, visits Lone Tree Tuesday.
Girls: Wapello 60, Pekin 32
WAPELLO ? The Panther girls lost 60-32 at Wapello Thursday.
Pekin?s top scorers were Brandy Millikin and Cheyann Lankford with nine points each.
Leslie Stone grabbed six rebounds, and Lankford and Jessica Horras finished with four and three steals, respectively. Millikin also tallied 10 boards.
The Panthers (15-5, 14-4 SEISC north) host Burlington-Notre Dame in shootout action today.
